DescriptionThis gorgeous boy I've called Maestro. Maestro was being fed by a kind family as he was a stray, when he turned up limping badly they reached out for help on Facebook. In the video this boy couldn't put his foot down but was still purring and asking for strokes. I went and collected him the next day but it was late so took him home and settled him for the night. Maestro was sadly not microchipped or neutered and was dirty with visible flea dirt. I flead and wormed him immediately.
The next morning I rang the RSPCA and got a log no and took him to the vets. They couldn't find a reason for his limp so thought it was muscular and it was better than the day before so he had painkillers and an anti-inflammatory. The vet thought he was 2-4 years old.
Maestro settled into my spare room and wow what a lovely, friendly boy he is with the loudest purr and constantly talking to you. He gives you head bops and loves having his tummy rubbed. He is so cute when he's making biscuits.
His limp suddenly reappeared and his foot became swollen upon closer inspection I found a tiny wound between his toe beans. When I was cleaning his foot it burst and so I thoroughly cleaned it. Even though it was obviously hurting Maestro carried on purring. It has now healed and his foot is fine.
Maestro has now been neutered and microchipped as per usual he was straight back to purring and looking for strokes and cuddles.
Sadly Maestro has one thing against him the fact he's black and white its so sad that black and white cats are less desirable than other cats. I know that the first person to meet Maestro will be absolutely smitten with him.
β
Is neutered and microchipped
β
Is upto date with flea and worm treatment
β
Is a friendly, chilled boy who loves to purr and talk
β
Will need access to outside either an enclosed garden or away from busy roads
β
Will be OK with children who are used to being around animals and respect their boundaries. I'm not putting an age as you do get animal savvy young children.
β
His feeder had a spayed female who he was fine with so I think he could be OK with a friendly cat following careful introductions.
Maestro has not been tested with dogs but perhaps if you have a cat friendly dog already used to living with cats that could be considered.
Home checks will apply I am happy to travel within Greater Manchester and a bit further afield if need be to find the right forever home for Maestro. Please note following a successful home check you would need to do a meet and greet in Shaw, Oldham.
You will be responsible for doing his vaccinations. On his adoption day his microchip will be registered to you.
Whoever meets Maestro will have their heart stolen by this loveable, friendly fuss monster.
