INTRODUCTION
The Asian Group describes a group of cats developed primarily in England. These cats are of European Burmese type but differ in color, patterns, and coat lengths. There are both shorthairs and semi- longhairs in this group.
The variety is endless; tabbies are bred in all recognized patterns. Burmillas, Bombays and Tiffanies fall into this group of cats and each individual breed is described seperately.

APPEARANCE
The group of Asian cats are different in appearance to each other and are therefore described seperately in the cat breed profile page.

CHARACTERISTICS
In general Asian cats are very intelligent and fun loving cats and therefore make an ideal family pet.
Asian cats are one of th efew breeds that actually state in the breed standard, that they must be of good temprement.

They have an outgoing nature and are very entertaining to watch with their charming personalities.
