INTRODUCTION
The Irish Wolfhound dog is categorised in the 'Hound' dog group in the UK Kennel club.
The name of the dog orginates from its purpose of hunting wolfs.

APPEARANCE
The Irish Wolfhound is one of the tallest breed of dogs, similar in height to the Great Dane. They have a rough coat which comes in many different colours. Wheaten and Grey are the most common colours, but they also can be brindle, red, black, brown, white or fawn.
