INTRODUCTION
The Tiffanie is one of the most recent breeds. It has not come about by a quirk of breeding – the creators had a clear vision of what they wanted: a Burmese with the long hair of a Persian. The breeding objectives were met quite quickly, but there is still no consensus on the question of whether the breed should be recognised.

APPEARANCE
Powerful, medium-sized, muscular cat with a broad chest. The rounded head is also broad, and has medium-sized ears which are rounded at the tips. The eyes are expressive, wide open, slightly angled and are green to yellowy-green. The medium length legs are well-proportioned relative to the body, and the elegantly carried tail should be plumed. The silky, medium-length coat comes in various colours.
