Description
For Stud our KC registered Dougal who is our Long Haired Weimaraner. He has recently turned 2. Born the 7th of April 2022 He is in perfect condition and ready to breed. In fact his 1st romance with Maggie a short haired silver girl from Scotlands most knowledge breeder has proven successful and has resulted in a perfect healthy litter. So fully proven moving forwards. Please do get in touch if you would like more info on this litter! And this pairing has produce pups with A Breed coefficent of just 0.1 yes 0.1 Thats basically perfect. Do reach out if you want us to put you in touch with Maggie's owners. Whom would be happy to discuss both Dougal and any Weimaraner questions you may have. Now about Dougal (AZ14181811 CHANORYCHAN LENNOX) He is a special soul. He is extraordinary we think. We know he is just a dog but he is kind, loving, funny, cleaver, cheeky, and above all super chilled and calm. Not highly strung or anxious So not very typical. He has a very strong nose and all the usual Weim hunting instinctual traits that you would expect yet he is simply a delight. Still just a dog ;-) He has very desirable Dutch heritage and as a result this is lightly to lead to exceptionally low COI Breeding Coefficients with your pups getting the very best start in life. We are keen to chat and arrange a COI check in advance of any pairing being considered as well as inviting you up for a visit for the potential couple to meet and for you to see Dougal in his rural happy home domestic environment if distance allows for you. Multiple couplings are not a problem as if your traveling then it makes sense to cover several days to catch your dam at just the peak of her season. Also we did a full heath and dna Lab check for Dougal. We used the best comprehensive DNA screening service available in the market today, And he has aced it to put it mildly. Not one inherent genetic issue or common to breed potential problem nor behaviour or trait flag. Infact the report confirms all this and pointers to his nature and lineage! His fee is set high to reflect both his worth and the resulting quality /health of your pups but of course this can be discussed and potentially negotiated!(to the right pairing if it further strengthens this breed) Also we have recently been approached with a view to cross breeding with other gsp breeds! Out view here is as-long as the breeding coefficient works and the potential pairing works and the breeder is set up properly with the necessary contingency plans then we will consider exploring these opportunities in the interest of healthy happy well loved dogs .
