Meet Gibsknowe Gundogs

We are a working gundog kennel keeping a small variety of breeds, we primarily only breed a litter to retain a puppy for ourselves. I work full time as a gamekeeper on a large sporting estate in north Northumberland and my partner works at the local vets practice. Our dogs are part of the family here and temperaments are always faultless being that they grow up around my own young family. Our dogs work year round on a variety of game from grouse, pheasant and partridge but also working on flight ponds and pigeon hides. Our GWPs are used for grouse counting and walked up shooting as well as picking up. Our cockers and labs are used in the beating line and for picking up behind the line and sweeping but also sitting on the peg while loading. Our teckels live in the house alongside our family and are used as gamekeepers help (or hinderance!) for ratting etc We aim to produce happy and healthy puppies in our litters and offer stud dogs with correct type and characteristics of the breed.
