We have made the difficult decision to find our much-loved English Bulldog, Rolo, a new home. Rolo is nearly 4 years old and has many lovely qualities. He is a happy, affectionate dog who loves cuddles on the sofa, playing with his toys, and going for walks. He is friendly with has a lovely, playful personality. However, Rolo does have some behavioural challenges that require ongoing training and management. He can be difficult to house train and will occasionally urinate indoors, particularly if he gains access to areas of the house he is not usually allowed in. He can also become excitable around visitors, often jumping up at them and barking. Over the last two years, we have worked hard to address these behaviours, but we feel that Rolo would benefit from an owner with experience of English Bulldogs or someone who has the time, patience, and knowledge to continue his training. This decision has not been made lightly. Rolo is very loved, but with a young child at home, we can no longer manage his behavioural needs in the way he deserves. Our priority is finding the right home for him, where he will be understood, and continue to be a loved member of the family. We are in no rush and will only consider homes that we feel are the right fit for Rolo. Please get in touch if you think you could offer Rolo the loving, experienced home he needs.
