Sam is a black labrador x who we think is around 8 months old . He was found straying on a busy road in Spain , we think somebody had thrown him out of the car and he had been running on the road for a few days . His feet were red raw and blistered ( which are now all healed up ).
He was at our cat rescue for 3 months and he is now in foster in the UK .
Sam is a young active dog and will need somebody with lot's of experience of dogs ....he at the moment cannot be left as he suffers from seperation anxiety .
He is the type of dog who will bond to you and follow you everywhere . He is already very attached to his fosterer.
He's not an in your face kind of dog and is very gentle and kind . I took him for a walk yesterday and let him off the lead for the first time ...his recall was very good and he walks well on the lead . He also gets on well with other dogs .
His house training is a work in progress . He may have never lived in a home before , so it is going to take a bit of time and patience .
Sam really needs to live with another dog to give him confidence and to play with .
To sum up ...Sam is a lovely boy who needs somebody who is at home all day ( at least until his seperation issues are worked on ) . He will be a really lovely loyal companion to the right home.
He is neutered , fully inoculated and pet passported.
