This is Byron - if you are looking for a large dog look no further!
Byron is a handsome boy with a beautiful eyes, a lovely face that looks similar to a Labrador, and a lovely white rough coat.
Byron is one of 4 puppies who were left at our rescuers door in Portugal when they were 2 months old. He is in Portugal until he has a home to go to.
Byron is going to be a large adult. He is a hunting dog, and as an adult has been estimated to be between 30-40kg.
Byron is a lovely boy - sweet natured and calm. He now. knows his name and has good recall. He is food orientated along with his siblings and is a super intelligent boy. He knows to wait quietly, when he is asked to go back to his puppy area. (Our rescuer has lots of dogs so they have separate puppy areas).
His brother has recently been adopted and is in training and learning fast. Due to his size we are looking for a confident adopter who has had dogs before, and enjoys the training aspect.
Like all puppies he likes to play with his siblings and other dogs he is living with.
Byron is good with cats as the rescuer has over 70 and he ignores them.
Byron will need a lot of socialisation with as many adults, children, dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. He needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations.
Due to his size we will only rehome him to homes where the children are over 12 years old
Byron is too young to be neutered, but this needs to be done as part of our adoption contract.
Byron will be vaccinated and microchipped. Homecheck and adoption fees apply.
