Temperament is a direct reflection of both "Inherited" and "Environmental" factors. Blade was bred from generations of dogs with the most level headed and calm temperaments.
Blade is a very fit and athletic dog. He weighs 30kgs. He is trained to Field Trial Standard and does not have any eliminating faults.
Blade's pups make excellent working retrievers in the field as well as fantastic family members.
"FERTILITY"
In addition to Blades impressive level of health testing, he also undertakes regular "Advanced Semen Assessments"
The most recent full semen analysis, carried out on the 20/10/23, found all parameters of the test to be in excellent condition with an impressive 8mls of sperm rich fraction at 85% forward motility.
Blade has been bred from long lines of healthy hip scores, zero elbow scores and clear eye certificates. Generation's of dogs with great hips, clear eyes, perfect elbows, wonderful temperaments and great health.
"ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION"
Blade has been trained to provide semen for A.I. Therefore, A.I. can used on extremely difficult bitches that refuse to stand. I will only carry out A.I. on bitches that have been progesterone tested. We must first of all establish that your bitch has most definitely ovulated, otherwise the whole process is pointless.
For natural matings Blade is a very well trained stud dog. No harm will come to your girl and the entire mating process will be gentle and stress free.
Repeat mating from the very next season "ONLY" should your bitch unfortunately miss first time.
