Full Advert Details

Blue eyed beige Dutch split buck rabbit, 5 weeks old and ready to leave on 30 June 2013.

This rabbit is in need of a loving pet home (no breeders please). Unfortunately he has an injured leg, but as confirmed by our local veterinary surgery he will live a totally happy and normal life.

Parents are blue eyed white doe (Dutch split carrier) and sooty fawn buck (Dutch split carrier). Both parents are extremely loving and tame.

This baby has been handled daily from birth and is as tame as his parents.

Comes with pedigree birth certificate and change over food.

Only the best home will do. Please contact me if more information is required.

Rabbit Buying Checklist

Before contacting or visiting the advertiser for this Mini Lop. Please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT buy a rabbit from the advertiser unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list.

  • Do your research first
Getting a new rabbit is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched the breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the rabbit. You can read our detailed Information guide about rabbits for potential new rabbit owners. Also read our Mini Lop Rabbit breed information profile.
  • Confirm that the advertiser is genuine
You should verify this by arranging to visit the rabbit at the advertisers home, if they make excuses or try to ask for money or a deposit without seeing the rabbit, or if the advertiser attempts to deliver the rabbit or meet you at any other location than their own home, then please do not agree to this. NEVER send money online for any rabbit. Please read our article on avoiding potential scams.
If you are unsure that the advertiser is genuine, please report them to us.
  • Is the rabbit over 8 Weeks of age?
Rabbits must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before they can leave their mothers. Most responsible sellers will keep their rabbits longer than this before they let them go to new homes.
  • Check the Health of the rabbit
It can be difficult for the average person to check if a rabbit is healthy or not, so if you decide to adopt or buy the rabbit, make sure that the seller agrees that you can return them within 48 hours for a full refund after taking the rabbit to a Vet of your choice for a health check. The seller should be willing to let you do this. If the rabbit has already been health checked by their own vet, make sure you get evidence for this in the form of vet records and phone their vet to confirm this.
