Social Hermanns tortoise looking for rehome due to lifestyle change of owners. Microchipped and offical certificate provided.
Gerald has been use to table top housing, has had a vivarium for short period of time (4months) then switched back to table top due to space and respiratory benefits.
Gerald is a well established fully grown male born in September 2017 and has been with us throughout. He has grown at a healthy steady pace and is solid! He has a fresh food diet of romaine lettuce and carrot with the occasional tomato or cucumber.
All accessories pictured will be provided with Gerald including his open table home and free standing lamp.
Light is combined bulb that is left on for 5 hours in summer and 8 hours I. Winter. He has never hibernated and will not require to be if light is time controlled.
Lifespan of this baby is up to 70years.
Gerald does also use the garden in summer and likes to walk around the house. He also enjoys chasing a ball and butt scratches (he does a little happy dance with this) He responds to humans well and enjoys a weekly bath.
Gerald requires a new home due to lifestyle change of me and my husband where we can be away from home too long to look after him as well as I would like. It saddens me to say goodbye.
