Mario is a 5 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a loving new home after his owner relocated to Italy and cannot take him back. I have been caring for him and can honestly say he is a calm, gentle and affectionate dog who loves being part of family life.
He is neutered, microchipped and fully house trained, only going to the toilet outside. Mario walks well on the lead and knows basic commands, including giving his paw and waiting politely for a command before eating his food. He loves chewing his toys but has never damaged anything that was not given to him.
Mario is brilliant with children – very patient, gentle and happy to be fussed and cuddled. He previously lived for two years with a female German Shepherd x Cocker Spaniel and gets on with most dogs. He has spent a lot of his life travelling in a camper and running around with other dogs, but as with any dog he should be supervised with new dog introductions.
At home Mario is a real sofa dog. He is quiet, relaxed and happiest when he can curl up somewhere warm, especially near a fireplace in winter, and cuddle up with his people. He has a lot of love to give and would make a wonderful, loyal companion for someone or a family who can offer him a stable, caring forever home.
