For whatever reason my last post was taken off! But she is still for sale. So a little update with her!
I originally got baby off here around 4 weeks ago now, I tried to have settling in period with her but it’s just not working out and the original owners arnt interested in helping me in this situation.
So baby is really needy dog which is natural for chihuahuas. And she was advertised as being good with kids and dogs. Which she has gotten better with. But my son is autistic, and is really on the go,loud and bounces everywhere! To which scares her and is too much for her to point she goes for his feet and nipped him a few times. She really good with me, and gotten better with my eldest son.
She is good with my dog but does get jealous and snappy if attention isn’t on her so I reckon a home without a 2nd dog so she can have all the attention maybe? it took a little time and slow inductions to get used to each other but as the videos show she plays well but when it comes to cuddles and laps etc she isn’t a sharer!
I feel like the best home for her would be a quiet single or couple. Possibly no kids or dogs. She’s just a lap dog and craves the attention solely on her. and follows you everywhere. She’s a timid girl and she comes across nasty to new people even when she first came to me she was petrified huddled in a corner n growled when I got a lil close but I literally just picked her up and spoke to her and that was it she was my shadow. It’s really sad having to do this and to pass her on. But it took her a few days to fully settle in. She’s playful, loves a little play fight, belly rubs. She sleeps in bed with me, she gets left when I’m out with access to living room and kitchen.
She is chipped. Flead wormed jabs etc
She has potty accidents if left a while or when it’s raining she’ll refuse to go out.
Toileting I had to sit outside often with her. She loves little walks ( on the lead only) but will scratch your leg when she’s had enough to be picked up.
Just another fyi, she hates ******************ies! So I lock her in the kitchen when ******************ies are due. And the post man.
She is lovely dog and it’ll break my heart because I only want the best for her! but my child comes first especially with his needs as well. I am asking for £350 fee to ensure she goes to a good home! No messers! And must have an understanding how chihuahuas are.
