Nicely sized adult Giant African Millipede. Sold as unsexed.
£5 for the millipede with a tub setup which includes everything in the last photo. This also includes a heat mat and a clean-up crew (springtails) in the substrate.
Please keep in mind millipedes are more complicated to care for than some people describe. They need an edible substrate to survive, I've been using top soil with dead oak leaves and dead oak wood. Millipede-specific substrates can be purchased online, or you can use leaf litter and dead wood from outdoors as long as you treat it by baking it in the oven or putting it in the freezer for a day or two. I spray the tub once a day to keep half of the substrate slightly damp to maintain humidity.
They also need fruit and vegetables, such as cucumber, courgette, squash, kale, apples, bananas, etc. They also need cuttlefish bones OR calcium occasionally sprinkled onto their food to help them grow.
Please always wash your hands after handling as millipedes often secrete liquid as a defence.
