We are sadly looking for a new home for our beagle, Penny.
Peny is a lovely girl but unfortunately displays a lot of resource guarding behaviour which can become quite aggressive . Although we have had no incidents of biting, they’re has been growling, snarling, and snapping when we try to retrieve items she has stolen or shouldn’t have.
Peny has typical young beagle energy and loves to run and play all day - Penny’s behaviour is only an issue when resource guarding occurs.
Penny can be left alone for up to 4 hours (she shows no signs of separation anxiety) and is always so happy to meet people and other dogs. Penny is very sociable with other dogs and loves to play. Peny can go off lead and recalls (most of the time!!) well. She is honestly a pleasure to walk and play with.
