This is a really hard post for me to write, but I want to do what’s truly best for my boy.
I recently rehomed a beautiful cat from a lovely family. With my experience with cats, I genuinely believed he would settle in well here, and I’ve tried my very best to help him adjust. Unfortunately, he is really struggling to cope with my other pets.
He is an indoor-only cat, and being around other animals is making him very anxious and stressed, even though I’ve given him lots of love to try to help him feel safe.
With people, he is so sweet and loving – he just blossoms when he’s not worried about other animals. Because I care about him so much, I feel the kindest thing I can do is find him a quiet, pet-free home where he can finally relax and feel secure.
