Here are my 4 pet rocket gar. These are my favourite fish very predatory towards smaller fish. Cant keep any longer as closing down my fish room. I have fed these fish on mostly hikari vibra bites, frozen smelt and feeder guppies ( i can provide some guppies to start a breeding feeder fish tank)
Large specimens can reach 30 cm (12 in) in length. This carnivorous predator, fast yet timid, feeds mainly on small fish. It spends most of its time in the upper layer of the water, very near the surface, in small schools that tend to become smaller as individuals grow and separate.
Tropical fish, shouldn't be kept in anything smaller than 200L.
