Description
Minnie is an unfortunate victim of the private renting landscape in this country. Her owners have been given until February to find a new place to live and this coupled with a new baby in the family, the future is uncertain. The family have decided that it's unfair to drag Minnie and three other cats along and better to find them the best possible new and forever homes.
Notes from the owner about Minnie:
- Minnie
- Girl
- Neutered
- Age 3 born September 2022
- Booked in for vaccinations 22nd December
- Will also get her next Flea and Wormer on that day
- Litter trained (Prefers to go outside)
- Eats wet and dry food. We use whiskers atm. She is particularly food motivated!! š
- Minnie got her name as she was the smallest of her litter. Very playful, love a fluffy toy on a stick to chase. Loves catnip filled toys She likes cuddles on her own terms and always tells you when she wants some attention. She also loves to pounce on hands and legs under the quilt moving around for her.
- gets on well with other cats but likes her own space too.
Minnie can be reserved immediately by deposit or you can meet her at her current home in kent before comitting.
If reserved in advance, I can usually arrange a volunteer driver to bring a rescue to my home in Hampshire (or one of my other foster homes) near time of collection. Although it's not always possible.
If this rescue isn't the right fit for you but you would like to help the Penny Paws cats in need in a different way, you can:

But hopefully you'd like to offer a second chance in your home. To apply:
WhatsApp is the easiest way to get hold of me: ************
Iāll need info about you, your home, why you are looking to adopt and why now as well as a video of your home - inside and outside spaces (including looking outwards from the front door please).
You can officially apply via my website:
https://pennypaws.org/adopt-a-cat/
And application videos are best sent via WhatsApp (although short videos can be sent by message on pets4homes too).

Its so important we match the right cat to the right home and family.
Please continue reading for more information and message me if you are interested in this adoption or to hear about the many other cats and kittens we are caring for and home hunting for. Thanks x
Hi I am Rebecca and I have a mission. Incase you donāt know me already, that mission is
-to scoop up the lost, abused and abandoned
- teach them to trust and love again - get them healthy and happy
- and neuter or spay them so we can get a grip on the kitten epidemic in this country
- then find them the forever home they truly deserveā¦.
PLEASE NOTE!!
Pets4homes does not allow payment for animals adopted via its website. I dont know why and its very frustrating. Please visit my website to see lots of testimonials and photos of penny paws rescues in their new homes :) www.pennypaws.org/testimonials
To reserve a cat or kitten we ask for non refundable £50 deposit. The rest is paid on collection. Again, pets4homes does not allow me to make this clear when posting the ads.

Rescues are full and waiting lists are long, so I foster the poppets with nowhere else to go - sadly there are many of them.
I have built a network of wonderful people that I communicate with and work with to enable me to find, rescue, foster, rehabilitate, treat and ultimately rehome as many as I can. Itās a full time ājobā but I make no profit financially - although I it definitely benefits me spiritually to do this.
I believe that every cat deserves to be loved and to feel safe. And while I canāt help them all, I do as much as I can. In order for this to work, I use my own finances, every penny of adoption fees and also kind donations to cover my costs of caring for current residents and whoever comes next (this includes providing the necessary food, litter, toys, vets bills for spaying, neutering, MoTs and medication etc - overwhelmingly high and never ending..). Or to contribute to the costs of the people caring for the cats I donāt have capacity for.
I ask for a small non refundable deposit (per cat) and the rest is paid on collection. I consider adoption offers very carefully. Itās so important to me that my fosters go to safe, loving and permanent homes so I have certain questions to ask and although I donāt feel the need to do actual home checks, I ask for a short video that shows where the cat will be going. I need to be sure that I have found them a loving, safe and permanent future or Iām failing them.
If you are able to donate a small contribution to the shelter, food, litter or veterinary costs of any of my cats it goes such a long way. https://gofund.me/a4047007
Alternatively you can donate much needed supplies via my amazon account
Thank you so much for your support
Love Rebecca
