Hi everyone!
Meet Ruffie, our incredibly handsome foster cat, who is looking for the PERFECT forever home ❤️ He currently lives in St Leonards (East Sussex), he is a 4 year-old 5.7kg ball of soft fluff, treated for internal/external parasites, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
Here's what his amazing foster mum says about him:
"Rufus, nicknamed Ruffie, is extremely fond of humans but sadly not his feline peers. He is a confident cat and made himself comfortable in his foster home extremely quickly, rolling around on the floor with a toy within minutes of arriving. He loves his food and has so far eaten everything put in front of him; he uses his litter tray as he should and without any issues. He likes to play in short bursts and craves human attention; he has occasionally gently nipped to get attention but not in any way maliciously. He likes to come onto laps but does have a habit of digging his claws into legs; having a towel for him to lay on means that it is a far more comfortable experience for his human; he also had his claws clipped at the vets which has definitely helped in this respect. However, he doesn't seem to like to lay on laps for long and will soon move off preferring to lay next to you, this might be due to the current warm weather. At night time he loves to be close and sleeps on the bed most of the night; he settles down to sleep and doesn't pester throughout the night. Ruffie was very well behaved when he visited the vet - aside from the basics, he also had a blood test done which showed that he is a very healthy cat with no underlying issues. The vet also checked him physically and described him as the dream cat! Ruffie comes when called within the house but is often close by anyway, he really does love humans."
RUFFIE'S IDEAL FOREVER HOME:
- adult household (sensible teenagers absolutely fine) preferably where people are around a lot
- no other cats
- spacious indoors home ONLY as he has shown no sign of being distressed indoors and there's a high chance he'll get into fights with other neighbourhood cats (which would be completely unfair on all parties)
