Bonnie is a 7 year old golden retriever, working line, with a multi generation pedigree. She is unspayed, finished her last season a few weeks ago and needs to be spayed February 2026.
She cannot live with any other dogs or other animals. While she is friendly with people, she cannot live with children. She has not shown any aggression towards people or children but due to her high prey drive and reactivity with other dogs, it would not be safe for Bonnie to live with children.
She is reactive with other dogs and has a very high prey drive with other small animals. She cannot live on a farm with any livestock or with any other animals.
Bonnie is a very affectionate, loving dog who has not been given any formal training beyond "bed", which she understands to mean lie down. She does have the odd accident overnight if she is not walked or if she feels unsafe. She cannot be left at home alone until she has had sufficient training to help with her fear around abandonment.
We are looking for an experienced owner who understands the kind of issues ex breeding dogs experience, and can give her a peaceful home.
