Description
meet polly and sprinkles my two goat
they where given to me through rescue so haven’t a clue on there age but i would guess 6-8years maybe?
the reason the goats are for sale is they need more grass than i can provide and without any brush for them to feed on they tend to get out into farmers land 🫣
i must warn they can be unpredictable and can jump up or try to nibble (never intentionally bite) people meaning they are not kid friendly
they have never bitten or jumped up at me however i have seen them attempt with others
abit about each goat
sprinkles
-she has her name because her ears look like they have sprinkles making it easier to tell them apart
-in the past she injured her leg and has now recovered but needs her feet checked and trimmed regularly or she will refuse to walk
-you can easily put a collar or head collar on her and she is very happy to be walked
-she is very gentle and easy to handle
polly
-polly is what i called talented as she is they goat that jumps in theses photos she can jump up to 1.05m
-she is more “aggressive” than sprinkles and will boss about anything she can
- polly is the escape lady but with enough grass she is fine
-she has always had a collar on but is more difficult to put a head collar on
both
dislikes
- ears being touched and played with
-being with other goats (sometimes they are ok)
likes
-any type of treat especially dry pasta
-hearing there names (they like to know you see them)
both goats are trained to come over using a dog clicker but if they have so much grass they will most likely ignore you
i’m willing to offers as i need them gone asap
(preferably pick up)
