Chief is a medium size, gorgeous hound boy, currently in his fab foster home in Kent.
This boy has quite a story, and his resilience, and pure desire to grow in confidence and enjoy life, has led him in making huge progress in the very short time he has been with his foster family.
This is what his foster mum says about our Chief

Age: 11 months
Weight: Around 15 kilos
Health: Fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and blood tested clear of diseases
Location: In foster care in Kent
We are looking for that special home that understands that with patience and care Chief will blossom into the most rewarding, sweet and loving companionā¦ā¦ with a mischievous nature that will keep you entertained.
At 4 months old Chief was found near an army camp in Cyprus high in the mountains tied to a tree. Skin and bones, he was afraid of his own shadow, in a black cloud of fear.
Chief was initially placed in a private kennel in Cyprus and then in the UK and is now in a foster home in Kent.
Given what Chief went through at such a young age, progress was, as to be expected, slow. However, his confidence and belief in people now means he is ready to take that next step and find a permanent home of his own.
Chief needs:
š¾ an experienced dog owner who understand the journey to be travelled by a dog with a traumatic past
š¾ at least one other friendly and confident furry companion who loves to play
š¾ a quiet home with a safe enclosed garden in a rural location so that he can play with his furry friends and go for long peaceful walks
š¾ ideally an adopter who is willing to invest the time to come and meet Chief before they take him home (preferably with one or more of their furry friends).
Chief is crate and house trained, loves his walks and walks very well on the lead.
Chiefās true character is starting to surface. He is quick to learn, eager to please, affectionate and has a cheeky, mischievous side that is emerging as he becomes more secure and confident in his environment.
