Our beautiful Calico, Pirate Pip gave birth to 6 darling kittens on Star Wars Day! aka, May 4th. Dad, Captain Red, is a large fluffy ginger, hence the wonderful mix of babies.
The kittens have had a great start. Mum is extremely good with them, she has done everything she is supposed to without any interference, she is just a natural. Fabulous temper, loves human and doggy cuddles and as you can see, is very beautiful indeed.
The kittens are currently being weaned and litter trained. They are having plenty of human interaction throughout the day and are slowly being introduced to our dog. They are used to noise and children and are just beginning to formulate their characters.
They will be ready to go to their forever homes from Monday July 6th, when they will be 9 weeks old. Kittens often get removed by 8 weeks, but this is a little too early if you want them to be the best and healthiest that they can be. I wont release all kittens on the same day as this will be too traumatic for mum. The health and well being of her and the babies is my priority above all else. But they will all be released to their new families within the same week.
You are welcome to come and view or have a video call. Kittens will only be held with a deposit and each kitten will be rehomed with a starter pack of the food they are being weaned on, along with a pillow case carrying the scent of their litter mates and mum, this will help ease them into their new environment.
The litter consists of 4 boys and 2 girls. The girls, 1x full ginger and 1x Tortoiseshell. The boys, 2x ginger and white, 1x tuxedo and 1x full black.
If you decide to rehome one or 2 of these beauties, I will keep you regularly updated with pictures while you wait for coming home day 😀
