Description
Due to a change in circumstances, I’m looking for a 5-star, forever home for my stunning girl, Eve – a Belgian Malinois x Dutch Shepherd. She’s incredibly intelligent, loyal, and thrives on physical and mental stimulation. Eve is affectionate in the home but very much a working dog at heart. She needs an experienced owner who understands high-drive breeds. She’s best suited to an active lifestyle involving obedience, agility, or scent work.
IMPORTANT:
She is not suitable for first-time owners & offers from first-time dog owners will not be considered.
Key Information:
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped (as a pup)
✅ House-trained
✅ Crate-trained
✅ Excellent health
✅ Used to being groomed (I am a former dog groomer myself)
Eve's Ideal Home Requires:
A secure garden.
Someone home most of the day. While she has no separation anxiety or destructive behavior and has been left alone for full workdays at times, consistent presence is preferred.
No small children or cats.
Possibly okay with a calm, male dog.
Important Considerations & Temperament:
This is not a dog for a first-time owner. Eve requires significant daily exercise (more than just a walk around the block) and consistent mental challenges to keep her happy and balanced. Without proper engagement, she will get bored, which can lead to unwanted behaviors.
She likes to maintain her boundaries and needs her space around other dogs. In urban areas, particularly where cats may be present, she requires short walks on a short lead.
Eve is approachable in the presence of strangers outside, but reactive/protective at home when strangers are present.
She has a jealous streak when seeing other animals receive attention from her primary owners.
Application Process:
Please only serious, experienced inquiries. I will ask for a detailed message about your experience and lifestyle.
Once rehomed, you will be provided with a full report on her behavior, habits, walking temperament, interactions with other dogs, and equipment advice/use history. Just as a curtsy & for her benefit (not due to any behavior concerns)
I will gladly clarify any questions, always truthfully. I'm looking for Eve's ideal home, not somewhere in a hurry.
Note:
The handover process may be more extensive than typically expected and will not be rushed. This may include a Home Visit, a right of first refusal agreement, or a notification of future rehoming clause.
Please do not apply if you want a quick handover, i will be looking for co-operative owners that understand I'm prioritizing her safety.
