We are sharing this post on behalf of a smaller rescue. We will share your details/interest received with Jacky.
Ronnie really would love a forever home of his own and preferably within 45 minutes of his foster mum in Bushey, Hertfordshire to allow for home check and visits prior to adoption.
He is an extremely friendly chap with a slightly cheeky personality and he is currently busy learning his manners, which is coming along nicely although he sometimes forgets in his exuberance to greet and play 🙄.
Ronnie had obviously never been walked on a lead so it was....shall we say interesting to begin with 🤦♀️🤦♀️. He is getting better and better all the time and, with the miracle that is chicken, his recall is really getting quite good.
Ronnie is an ideal sized dog. He is not tiny, but he is on the smaller side. He just loves people, which is amazing given the cruelty he suffered in Romania! He is also good with other dogs, travels well in the car, is quiet at night, and although playful he settles calmly in his bed in-between zoomies 😂.
We are unsure of his exact age as his passport says 7 years, but this is clearly way out because his demeanor and teeth suggest he is a young dog of no more than 3 years.
Ronnie does have a slight deformity of the front leg, but this does not affect him in the slightest.
His ideal home would be a family or active older adopters with some dog experience, but the most important thing is someone who is able and prepared to put in the time for his ongoing training. Gosh what a smashing dog they would have!!
Ronnie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and blood tested for foreign diseases.
