She was chained by a man who, in his cruelty and ignorance, wanted to make a Doberman out of her, intending to cut her ears and tail. When a local vet heard of it, they immediately called for help. Rescuers rushed to her side and took her away before harm could be done. From that moment, Gerda’s life began anew — filled with kindness, care, and the first touches of love she had ever known.
