Pippa is a beautiful small golden cocker Spaniel.
She is extremely loyal and loves to follow you everywhere around the house.
She loves a nice walk and especially loves food and treats.
She doesn’t bark much at all. Occasionally at other dogs.
She likes to sit in the sun and will greet everyone and anyone who comes to your home with pure excitement and a wagging tail.
She is easy to get back on the lead and will obey commands and not run away. Very good recall.
***** There is one big negative *****
Pippa has a history of snapping if disturbed when she doesn’t want to be.
She has snapped and bitten numerous people on the hand.
She has had a night with a potential new owner and she snapped at this person and caught her hand.
It’s a reactionary bite and nothing more but I need to make this clear from the start.
* Can I make this clear - if you have kids under teenage years or other pets -Pippa is not the dog for you.
* You need to live within a reasonable distance of Durham.
This does sound negative but it needs to be fully understood from the start.
The reasons for adopting a new home is a change of circumstances and work means it has become impossible to look after her. Marriage break up etc.
Pippa still has plenty of love to give and would make a great companion for the right person.
She will only be released to the right home so please come and visit her if you’re interested.

1. We speak on the phone before you visit.
2. I visit your home with Pippa before I agree to re home her.
If either of these don’t work for you, then Pippa doesn’t suit you.
