Here is Pogo, he is 1 year & 4 months old. He weighs a whopping 48KG (last weigh in). Pogo is a Presa Canario X Cane Corso. (Mum is Presa Canario & Dad is Presa X Corso).
He is a puppy from a family members litter, who was homed with a loving family who had 5 young children and due to personal circumstances, he ended up back with us.
He doesn’t do too well with smaller dogs. (I have a staffy, so I cannot keep him).
He mounts female dogs excessively (I’m unsure of male, I have a female) and initiates very rough play. He has lacked correction from other dogs. He does not understand how hard he can bite during play. Therefore, Pogo would suit being the only dog of the household. He is amazing with children but being the big dog that he is, he doesn’t understand his size and I think a house with older children would suit him better.
He loves a cuddle and a snooze and he loves being outdoors and sniffing around.

He is guarding in nature as per the breed qualities. Pogo has little to no manners. He is very vocal, jumps up at you and jumps on the sofa’s. ‘Get off’ is not understood unless firm. He is fully toilet & crate trained. He will sit, lay down, paw, come to you, get into his bed and spin.
He is strong and the Presa in him is stubborn. He pulls on the lead and has non existent recall. We want him to go to a family/person who understands his needs and breed and will work with him to become the dog we know he can be.
Please, do not waste my time in messaging just asking to just come and get him ‘now’. He will remain with me until a suitable family is found for him.
