DescriptionRomulus and Remus are ready to look for their forever home!
Remus is a calm and very gentle kitten, who has inherited his mother's love of sitting next to his fosterer and just relaxing. When he decides he wants to play, he will either gently tap is fosterer's hand or (and this is the most common) pull her socks off her feet!
Remus loves chasing the laser pen with Romulus and will zip around the room after his brother during playtime. He is a massive foodie and savors meal times as much as he can before his brother inevitably convinces him to share his food.
Romulus is a sweet and cheeky kitten, who loves to involve himself in everything his fosterers does. If he feels he isn't getting the attention he deserves he will patt limbs till he is the center of attention, especially during work meetings and playing video games!
Food is a MAJOR motivator for this boy, and every meal time he dances around the room with great excitement before inhaling his meal as fast as possible (and then sneaking food from his brother). Romulus loves to tumble around his foster room with his brother, Remus.
Romulus and Remus are thick as thieves when together, so we will prioritize applications that can home them both. However, we will consider applications from homes looking for one kitten if they already have friendly resident cats.
Romulus and Remus will be shy when settling in, so we are looking for a home with relaxed owners who can help them settle quickly. Cat-savvy children would be alright, but be aware these boys can sometimes play rougher than they mean to! Remus has not been dog-checked, so this must be arranged with his foster.
History
Romulus and Remus were found in our original alley with their mum, Rhea. They were born on the streets and brought in when they were about 6 weeks old.
As Rhea was not feral and in need of vet treatment, we kept the family together. This means the boys were slower to socialize as their mum was shy, but in the long run, it has been absolutely fine.
Romulus and Remus were the only kittens from our alley last year, and now Rhea has been neutered so hopefully we’ll have no more!
Info
Romulus and Remus have been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. They have tested negative for FIV and FeLV and have been treated for parasites. They come with 5 weeks of free insurance!
