Description: Howie is now settling in kennels at Immingham. Howie is an utter sweetie that has come back into rescue. He is a nervy boy who really needs an understanding and patient home who is willing to work with and listen to advice from the rescue. He moved to kennels as he was struggling with the more comings and going’s at his foster mums home she’s so sad however it’s best for Howie. And with that no children as he has nipped.
When he learns to trust you he is so loving, playful and goofy.
Howie was fully house trained in foster (please bear in mind he may have accidents in a new home until he is settled). He gives the most amazing kisses (nose bumps) but can be a but shy about it so feel honoured when he does it 😍. He also sleeps on the bed.
Howie NEEDS at least one other confident dog in the home, probably best his own size round about as he is a bit clumsy and goofy in play. They need to be playful too as he looks up to other dogs on how to behave. He will follow their lead in every way and needs to watch your interaction with that dog/s to be able to trust the human.
He is currently worried about the harness going on him again but we are working on this. He is now accepting of the slip lead and is wearing a collar which was an issue before.
He is brilliant being left for short amounts of time with his other doggy friends, no destructiction etc.
He will need as many meet and greets that he feels he needs to get used to you so please do not apply if you only want to do one meet and take him home. Preferably a close home to Immingham adopter can work together with Kelly.
