Description
Will consider a sensible offer after being let down several times and they haven’t even been physically seen by anyone yet. These fabulous boys need a new loving caring home….. Do you have that home? So please…. Be serious if you’re going to show interest. The boys…. They are very tame, gentle and easy to approach and handle. They’ll eat off your hand and body, they’ll come to you and can even do a couple tricks. They’ve just turned a yr old, and have been together since birth. All are to remain together so therefore the total price would be £75. Will now consider a sensible offer. Due to our personal circumstances, they need that new home and to get the love and attention they deserve and will thrive on. We have had them from birth so they’ve known us from just days old and we had considered keeping them. Sadly though, as our situation has changed over the past few months, and will continue to change, we feel it best that we now reduce the amount of degus to look after, hence them being a little older. All perfectly healthy, no issues and again, are quite confident and won’t hide away once they’re used to you. They can also do a couple of tricks of which we can show you on site ;) All 3 have always been handled daily and will happily be picked up, feed upon ourselves, climb up onto us, and are very confident and curious as you can see from the photos (happily munching away on us and not being held). Also from the photos you can see that one of them has an adorable “go faster” stripe along his body!! For any further info, ask away or simply grab yourselves some fabulous little creatures to love and cherish. Please read the additional info below for more detailed advice in caring for degus. **** Extra general info below for anyone intrigued or serious about having degus as pets. There are a few basics to be mindful of, so please make sure you have researched them prior to having any to care for. That said, they are fantastic little creatures to consider, providing you give them the attention and loving they desire. They are very intelligent, sociable and curious creatures that love to explore and problem solve. Regular handling of them will make them very tame and could even regard you as a degu. Degus love to chatter and it's adorable to listen to with a variety of sounds. As they are very social creatures and like to have company, please do not consider degus if you only want one to look after (unless it's to join others). A minimum of two, but preferably 3 or more, should live together for their welfare and they do not need to be from the same litter. If interested I can explain more in detail. Their diet is quite specific but easily doable. Key thing here is nothing sugary. Two particular things that are unusual for this type of rodent is that they live for approx 6 to 8 years rather than just 1 to 2 years, and that they are day creatures, diurnal, rather than nocturnal. They, therefore, sleep generally through the night and are active during the day so this allows for much better interaction, certainly with children in mind as they'll be awake when the children are. Feel free to ask any questions and/or to make arrangements to see them.
