Our gorgeous boy Troy is in search of a new family (through no fault of his own).
We have owned him since he was 14 months old and he has been a little superstar and given everything we have thrown at him a good go.
He has hunted,gone on sponsored rides,taken trips to the beach and he is currently being used in a riding school. We have also taken Troy jump and ditch training and to local xc courses where he proved very bold and willing, he absolutely loved it and didn’t put a foot wrong. He is not phased by water, ditches or steps.
He hacks in company and alone, is forward going out hacking but not strong and loves a good gallop with his friends but has brakes 100% of the time, not at all bothered if horses canter off in front of him.
He would suit a happy hacker home or a mother daughter share.
Troy is currently used as a riding school pony, whilst he does work in the school his real love hacking.
He loves a fuss and cuddles.
He lives mostly out but doesn’t mind the stable.
He is good to clip,catch,bath and fine with the farrier(he is barefoot).
Troy is ok to load but just needs to take his time and think about what he is doing(will always load and travels fine) and it never takes longer than 10 minutes.
He is not phased by dogs and has never been a kicker and currently getting more accepting of tractors the older he gets.
Troy is a very good doer and will therefore need to be worked to limit the weight gain.
5* star homes only and homes will be vetted as he deserves the best . We would love to stay in contact with his new owner.
