DescriptionHello,
I am a hobby breeder of mini lop bunnys and aim to breed friendly loving family pets. I’m gathering interest for my upcoming litter that’s due this week
Follow my Instagram page @bunninghampalace1 for more up to date photos and quicker reply’s :)
always ask to see photos of bunnys parents, I’m seeing more and more cross bred rabbits being sold as mini lop. cross breeding can lead to lots of dental and health issues in rabbits- they are classed as exotic animals which can lead to very expensive vet bills
Rabbits are social animals and like to live in pairs or groups for this reason I offer a discount if buying in pairs :)
. I would recommend neutering all rabbits around 16 weeks old to prevent and unwanted pregnancy’s. It is also beneficial to neuter female rabbits if kept as pets, they can become grumpy with the hormonal changes that occur around 6 months of age (Google spring fever in rabbits). I would always recommend a buck (boy) for someone wanting a pet, they are much more loving and friendly than does (girls). I do reccomend keeping two rabbits together as they are social animals but I recommend neutering to prevent any fall outs. I have had familys take two and them live happily together without neutering but I’d always advise neutering
I have seven generations Iv bred here myself. I breed for temperment and type :). I’m working to improve my show standard bunnys and to have friendly loving bunnys. I have wanted to improve the breed since having an aggressive rabbit as a child that couldn’t be touched (pet shop bought).
I am registered with the British Rabbit Council and abide by the guidelines set by the Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF). I ensure my rabbits have the best environment, care and welfare. My adults are vaccinated against VHD2 and myxomatosis.
Your rabbit should be vaccinated yearly to protect them from these horrible viruses.
Each rabbit leaves with change over food and a lifetime of advice and support
RWAF guidelines recommend a hutch at least 6ft long, rabbits also need space to stand on their hind legs. A hutch should only be used as a sleeping space, they should have access to a run daily
thanks for reading, Becky :)
