DescriptionMy beautiful standard long-haired girl Heidi has produced her second and final litter with the same proven stud as before. She has blessed us with two little girls and two little boys, two Black and Tans and two Silver Dapple and Tans.
All four puppies are happy, healthy inquisitive little souls that will serve as charming and occasionally mischievous companions.
Puppy 1 - Male, Black and Tan (Rex) £1600
Firstborn Rex is the largest of the litter and has a wonderfully expressive face and huge feet. Like me, he has no issue polishing off a frankly excessive quantity of food, and seems to serve as the group pillow when they all snuggle up as a group for a nap. He is a big softie and super relaxed.
Puppy 2 - Female, Black and Tan (Jessie) £1600
Jessie is seemingly the happiest and most gregarious of the bunch, her default position being frantically wagging and asking to be picked up; if you don’t do this quickly enough she will remind you she is there by chewing your shoelaces. She tends to wear her exuberance off rolling around wrestling with her female litter mate-she is sleight and quick!
Puppy 3 - Female, Silver Dapple and Tan (Beau) £1950
Beau was initially quite a small lady but has now, on solid food) caught up and is giving Rex a run for his money. Beautiful Beau exhibits high-contrast and even dappling throughout her coat with a particularly pretty face-just like her mum. She’s even-tempered and tends to keep Buzz company when he takes himself off to bed in advance of his more frenetic litter mates.
Puppy 4 - Male, Silver Dapple and Tan (Busby) £1950
A very polite and well-mannered little chap, goes by ‘Buzz’ to his mates. Buzz is an absolute heart-stealer; whilst the others are engaged in beating each other up, Buzz finds a comfortable spot to watch peacefully as the carnage unfolds. He is always happy to let the others see the food bowl first, safe in the knowledge that his good manners are always noticed and rewarded. He is the most quietly affectionate, and always the first to contentedly settle on your lap if you sit on the floor with them. He has an exceptionally silvery coat and we can’t wait to see how he grows.
This litter been a real blessing and a credit to their dam and sire. All of the puppies are true to the breed character: mischievous, funny, intelligent and loyal. The Long-Haired Dachshund tends to be a far more easy-going and tolerant dog than her smooth- or wire-haired counterparts. Their luxurious long coats are easy to maintain and they don’t shed excessively.
These beautiful puppies are KC-Registered, vaccinated and wormed. They have grown up with other dogs in the household and have been regularly fussed and played with. They will arrive with enhanced pedigree certificates (quite a few champions in their lineage!) and a comprehensive puppy pack to help them transition into their new homes.
They will be eight weeks old and ready to leave for their new homes from Wednesday 24th April.
These are standard size long hair / longhair / long haired dachshunds and not mini / miniature, they are particularly rare!
Robust and strong pups, exactly as they should be! If one of these fabulous little characters sounds like a good fit for you then please do not hesitate to get in touch, my name is Patrick.
