I have available a variety of unsexed Japanese Quails chicks
These birds are handled daily and have been since they were hatched here. They are from my own birds and their eggs. They are silly tame birds and just amazing to watch, they have great personalities and really like to people watch
They are perfect for aviaries as they are floor dwellers so will eat all the seeds, they can fly but don't really do so but still need to be in a coop/run or a aviary. They will complement any garden or aviary.
They come from 7 different flocks, the colours in these flocks are Pharaoh, Wild Type Pharaoh, Black, Black Tuxedo, Calico, Golden Italian, Rosetta and Rosetta Tuxedo, Tibetan, Tibetan Tuxedo, English White, Pansy, Roux, Roux on Pharaoh, Pearl Fee, Possibly Falb Fee (Silver), Italian and Sparkly
Only Pharaoh are feather sexable from around 3 weeks of age.
Day old upto 1 week plus - unsexed - £3 - Hatching from the 3/5/24
2-4 week old plus - unsexed - £4 - AVAILABLE
5 week old plus - unsexed - £5 - None available at the moment
Males - £5 each or 1 FREE per 3 hens - None available at the moment
Laying Hens at POL - £10 each - None available at the moment
Minimum order of 2 except when having a male
Day olds and upto 4 weeks old (feathered up) need to be kept indoor with a heat source, but after weeks go can outside in summer months otherwise indoors til at least 5 weeks. My 3 plus week olds go outside in the warm weather.
Collection only, please bring a box when you come today with some bedding in.
I will soon be offering fertile quail eggs (none at the moment), I sell hatching mats, leg bands, DE Powder and chick crumb. I have available starter items that can be bought individually or as a chick pack, which includes heat lamp clips, bulbs, feeders etc.
