Barley is about 2.5 years old, and medium in size. He's very friendly and needs a home where his joyful energy can be enjoyed and positively channelled. He needs to be an only dog in the home, with no cats and young children (teens and older should be fine). Experience in happy, bouncy dogs is preferred!
This boy is smart as well as handsome and knows all his basic commands. Barley is strong on the lead and is responsive to everything going on around him. His brains and ability to learn will help you to develop a strong bond through force-free training and games.
Barley would love a home with a secure garden for him to run around in.
He likes other dogs, and can have doggy friends, but needs to be the only dog in the home. Barley doesn't like to share the important things in his world with other canines.
His previous foster home has very kindly written a substantial report about Barley, and so we know an awful lot about all of Barley's likes/dislikes etc. There's too much information to share in his bio here, but we'll share all we know with successful applicants.
