Tessy is a 1 year old staffy x lurcher
Tessy was a stray in a London pound and wasn’t claimed.
Due to no space in any rescues Tessy was hooked to be put to sleep, however the pound pullers charity have paid for her to be in emergency boarding kennels for the last few months waiting for a rescue space to save her life.
Tessy is now in my rescue and what a sweet girl she is.
she arrived very shut down, scared and quiet, terrified of loud noises and new people.
she has built a real bond with me and is coming out of herself and chasing a ball and playing with the other dogs occasionally.
Tessy has clearly been through a lot of trauma and will need a home willing to allow her to settle into a home and get used to her new surroundings.
she would really benefit from living with another dog as she gets her confidence off of other dogs.
she currently shares a kennel with a male lurcher and they are best of friends.
Tessy doesn’t pull on a lead and walks to heel.
she’s very willing to please.
Tessy would suit a quiet home, no young children as my children worry her and she takes herself off away from the noise.
she will be a wonderful addition to any family .
