Description
**NEEDS A NEW HOME ASAP** Here is our beloved 2 year old Loki, who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. This isn’t an easy choice as my kids will be heartbroken and are highly attached to him. Hes amazing with kids all ages and will walk on lead gentle if a child is holding etc. Loki is very loving & mardy, he loves attention, loves cuddles, and would be a lapdog if he didn’t weight in at 28kg. He’s KC registered, chipped, had his jabs, been vets for health check up today & is neutered and recently had entropion surgery for his eyes & also cherry eye removal when he was a puppy. Loki has sensitive skin, so is on a grain-free hypoallergenic kibble. Hes allergic to chicken (I think, as brings him out in hives, especially raw & in egg form too) we usually stick to lamb or salmon based kibble. Loki gets on with dogs, cats, children, males, females, everything & everyone. Loki can hold his urinr for approx 6 hours so does need to be let out regularly, and ideally needs to be with an early riser to avoid urinating inside. Loki currently shares his home with a 5 month old shih-poo, 2 adults, 3 cats and children aged 2,3 &6 and has done since 12 weeks old. Hes also lived with XL’s and multiple breeds over the time when dog sitting/helping friends out etc. Hes good on a lead but doesn’t have a great recall, so wouldn’t advise off lead walks. Only reason for rehome is simply being physically unable to afford his upkeep as I stupidly didn’t take out insurance straight away and have had to pay a lot of his previous issues outright and although vets are happy with him they have advised due to his breed and his occasional limp he’ll eventually end up with arthiritis & due to having previous pain relief for a leg injury this will not be covered in future either for me, unlike a new owner taking out cover on him second they get him etc. I’m being completely honest & up front, I’ve been going back and fourth for a while about it and uploaded and removed a few times, however I need to put him first. He isn’t getting the life he deserves anymore and it’s showing, he needs someone who can mard him for the rest of his life and give him a forever home. I do not recommended beds, only blankets or floor cos bulldogs are notorious for urinating on them otherwise (Loki is a guilty one for it) didn’t know it was common until joined a bulldog group on fb and spoke to my vet lol. I've got a crate here, if you want it, just needs a base for it from pets at home like £8 it's a medium I think. I'll check if want it. I cannot express how much I love him, my partner and my kids, me and partner have had a cry, not an easy choice and I’m still asking him now if we’re sure but I know it’s the right thing to do as my vets have it all on record so I’d never get him done under my insurance/name/vet cos of it, just gutted I didn’t do insurance sooner into buying him. And would be the ONLY. reason we need to find him a new home who can get this done.
