This little man has a wonderful temperment and has many champions in his line.
We brought Monty to breed our own line of American spaniels with a view of them being therapy dogs. So temperemnt and recomendation was very important.
However we are a couple of years away still until our girl is old enough so we are offering him for stud externally for now to a few experianced girls to keep him ticking over ❤️
After much thought, there are sadly not enough American spaniels in our area to keep him in regular work which is important for a stud dog so he will be available for kc American spaniels and miniature poodles/large toy poodles/cockapoos.
The American spaniel is a loyal, happy and trainable breed, very similar to the smaller King charles/cavalier in temperment. They inject that happy calmer disposition into the cockapoo cross and are a brilliant breed for families. But they seam to really love elder people I have found and therfore make exceptional comapnions .
Monty is currently in training to show his worth by going to work within an elderly care home. He is sitting with the people who live there and greeting their relatives. He travels on a bus happily and walks alongside wheelchairs happily. This training and socialising will continue.
