Sold in various box sizes on our website, the price shown (£4.33) is the price per hatchling insect if you buy a box of 6, correct at the time of posting this advert.
We post on Tuesdays - each Katydid comes in a small pot in a larger box. They're quite delicate but we do all we can to protect them on their journey to you. We strongly advise Royal Mail Special delivery.
Feed well on loads of things including bramble, oak, beech, apple leaves and slices of organic apple, fish flakes
keep pretty warm and humid we use 22-28 C and 80% humidity (via a large mostly glass cage). They grow up pretty fast (about 4 months) then live a longer time again as adults
There wasn't option to list them as katydids on this website so we picked stick insects as we breed and sell those too.
These make wonderful pets, it's surprising so few people have them at the moment. They're not noisy like some katydid species even as adults, just the odd quiet click or wing rustle.
