Description
Bonnie and Luna are an adorable bonded pair of rescue cats. They’re around 18 months old. Initially shy, once they get used to you, are very entertaining cats to have around. Their foster mum in Sharnbrook says this about them- “When they first arrived they were both very shy and had hidden away for a few days. Bonnie is now finally a lap cat! She sleeps in bed with me and absolutely LOVES cuddles. She is also a very vocal cat and will not stop meowing until she gets her breakfast! She will rub herself against my legs and when I sit down she will come and sit on my lap and watch the TV with great interest. Luna is a lot more shy and takes far longer to trust but she will now come up to me and let me pet her. She will also sleep by my feet on the bed so I believe with more time she will open up even more. These cats need a patient and experienced cat owner as they will take time to settle and show their true personalities. Initially you would need to spend lots of time working with them to start with so it needs to be someone who is home a lot. Luna does things in her own time and always tends to follow Bonnie so they have to stay together. Whilst neither of them enjoy being picked up, I have never seen either of them bite or scratch- they’re very gentle cats. They both LOVE treats and this is a good place to start with Luna. Slow and steady wins the race! They would both be fine with other cats and obviously this would need to be a slow introduction. There has been no signs of aggression from either of them so they can definitely be with other cats.” We think they should probably remain indoor cats as they are very happy indoors. They’ve been health checked, vaccinated, microchipped spayed and tested negative for FIV and FELV. They are also fully insured with Tesco and this can be transferred in to their new owners name. Adoption fee is the total for both cats.
