Due to downsizing and just concentrating on our Cream Legbar flock I’ve got the following available:
5x rare breed Derbyshire Redcap ladies (very light cream/white eggs) just coming up to 1 yr old and now laying well-beautiful birds. They are £30 each and must go all together or as a pair or triple.
4x gold top ladies, just coming up to 1 year old and laying well (cream eggs) beautiful birds and quite small. Perfect backyard flock! £25 each. Must go either in pairs or as a four.
1x welsummer cockerel his name is Loki, a very handsome boy but has become very protective of his girls you need to be experienced with cockerels, he was absolutely fine round our children but now is not, I’m sure he could be tamed up again if he learns some manners! He is fertilising eggs but I haven’t hatched any due to them being not the same breed. £15, if purchasing any of the girls above he can come with them for free. I also have his sister ‘henny penny’ she is a beautiful friendly hen, again just coming up to a year old and lays big deep brown eggs she can go with her brother or any of the other girls and she is £30.
Cream Legbar hatching eggs available from our own hens with unrelated cockerel, they had 100% hatch rate in the incubator this year and have very clear markings, they are a blue egg layer and an autosexing breed.
