Ukrainian Levkoy cats differ from Sphynx cats mainly in ear shape and body build: Levkoys have inward-folding ears while Sphynx cats have large, upright ears. Levkoys have a medium, angular face with a shorter, thicker 'carrot-like' tail, whereas Sphynx cats tend to be more slender with longer tails and rounded faces. Both are hairless breeds, but Levkoys have a hairless or very light downy coat compared to the Sphynx’s peach-fuzz texture. Temperamentally, Levkoys are playful and somewhat independent, while Sphynx cats are known to be social and lively.
