The Nebelung (with the "Ne-" pronounced as "Nay-"), also known as Russian Blue, Longhaired Russian Blue, is a very graceful, elegant cat characterised by its beautiful, dense, soft and silky semi-long coat that shimmers thanks to the silver tips on each hair. The breed was first developed in the United States and it looks very similar to the Russian Blue, although its coat is much longer. Over the years, the Nebelung has become very popular outside of America, not only because of its beautiful appearance, but also because it is so gentle and friendly.
