About us
Hello! I am a Shepherd & sheep farmer in the beautiful Towy Valley area of West Wales. I have flocks of pedigree sheep, these include Texel, Blue Texel, Zwartbles and a growing flock of Shetland sheep, we also run a rolling head of commercial lambs that we fatten for meat. We are Farm Assured, meaning our stock are well cared for, healthy and have full traceability. We show the Texels, and I have the Shetlands as a "fibre" flock, selling their fine, colourful fleece all over the world to crafters, knitters ans spinners. I also run a team of ISDS Border Collie sheepdogs to help tend the flocks. Alongside the shepherding, I am a keen trial enthusiast and although my antics have been put on hold whilst I had my 2 young children, I am getting back to it slowly. As a mother of 2 young boys I don't have much time, so I need my dogs to be intelligent, trainable, loyal and have the best temperaments possible. Consequently I breed my own replacement dogs, this ensures I know the bloodlines well, all my dogs are International Sheepdog Society Registered and some are dual reagistered with the Kennel Club, they are all genetically health tested, fully vaccinated and regularly vet checked to keep them in top condition. I feed well known brands of food and see my dogs as an extension of my family. When not working they can often be found accompanying us on days out to the beach or forest, some enjoy a good game of football with the boys.
I do breed my replacement pups, often I have a waiting list, and sometimes I advertise via here - I've found some amazing homes for my pups via this website.
I sell my puppies to experienced or committed Border Collie homes - they fulfill all manner of roles - farmwork, sheep herding and trialling, conpetitive agility, search and rescue and competitive scent roles, aswell as some being active pets. My pups are all over the world excelling - from America sheepdog trailling, to Scandanavia, Asia and I have a State Champion in agility in Austrailia. I like to ensure that I get the right home for the right pup, ans as a consequence may refuse potential homes. Please don't be offended by this, it really only means that the litter I am placing wouldn't suit, and I want to ensure everyone is happy, especially the pup - a bored Border Collie is no fun.
Previous pups accolades:
Jay - Sheepdog in France, Came 6th in the 2018 French Sheepdog National.

If I decide to sell then I have assessed the pups temperament and new home environment as compatable. I am here for advice, to listen to your boasts, or to help in any situation for the life time of my pups.
