Meet Gentlegorse Dackel

Here at Gentlegorse Dackel, we live and breathe Teckel. Their furry face and comical character are a delight to have around. They are incredibly loyal and loving, taking part in our busy farming life or accompanying me to work at my vet practice. They are more than happy to join bike rides with the kids or just have a snooze by the fire in the winter. My passion for Teckel began at the very young age of 10 and I always wanted to have a wire-haired Dachshund. Only 30 years later my dream came true when I convinced my husband to start with two miniature smooth Dachshunds, shortly followed by three wire-haired standard Teckel. I breed for the love of the breed and to focus on the best genetics. Breeding from the best is my aim! All of my dogs are very much a part of the family, they live within our family home.
