Our dogs are part of the family they receive the best care. I believe your dog is truly your best friend, they deserve the respect, kindness and care that you would give to a human. Our government doesn't protect dogs from being abused, most importantly, 'Lucy's Law' is not fit for purpose. Nor has there been any evidence of the law being implemented. I believe a change in the way dogs are identified, would pave the way forward to protecting dogs from puppy farmers. A nationwide database, where every dogs microchip is registered for free, would make registering ownership a more simple and clear process.
