Meet Torwood

I have cared for, owned, bred, worked & shown Flatcoated Retrievers and Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds for over 30 years. Torwood was established and run by my mother and myself, I have now been joined by my niece who is showing interest and promise showing and caring for the dachshunds introducing a 3rd generation and continuing the family tradition. We put great emphasis on structural soundness along with character & temperament within the breed standards. I try to breed dogs that are easily trained and therefore very biddable making ideal companions and family pets. I find the Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds and Flatcoated Retrievers get on very well together. Both breeds are very robust and full of fun. All health checks required for both breeds are carried out and all puppies vet checked, Kennel Club registered and microchipped in readiness for their new homes.
