Im a multi award winning & globally renowned breeder of superior quality MINI DACHSHUNDS & FRENCH BULLDOGS, health is my main focus,followed by type and temperament. At time of writing this (Dec 25) I am still the only dilute breeder in the world testing for all 5 "standard practice” health issues! (PRA,DM,OI,BVA,IVDD) My recent award write up sums me up….. Zoe Saunders is an experienced professional who has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the industry. There are many factors behind her success, but first and foremost, she excels at what she does and remains as passionate as ever about her work. Zoe has spent much of her life around dogs and, after a very successful career in the banking sector in London and building a portfolio of properties, she decided she wanted a change of direction and to focus on her family and her passion for dogs. Zoe spent years showing her dogs at championship level, including Crufts—the world’s most prestigious dog show. During this time, she identified an opportunity to improve the overall health of pug, French bulldog and dachshund breeds through responsible breeding. Through the health testing process, Zoe discovered rare colours appearing in DNA test results, which inspired her to study gene dilution, DNA profiling and colour formation—knowledge she applied when she set up her business. Zoe pioneered the dilute colour scene for dachshunds in the UK, creating the first lilac and tan (Isabella) miniature smooth dachshunds in the country. One of her dogs went on to become the world’s most famous dachshund, with offspring all over the world—a feat no other dog has achieved on such a scale. All the dogs are based at Zoe’s home in Essex, where each one is treated with love, care and attention. All her stud dogs are extensively health-tested and are of outstanding quality. With her knowledge, professionalism and large selection of studs, she has helped hundreds of clients achieve their perfect litter of healthy pups. Although Zoe’s main service is stud provision, she occasionally has puppies for sale waiting for loving homes. Zoe works with clients not just in the UK, but globally including many celebrities and has supplied both puppies and semen from her dogs around the world.
